Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made from Mashal Technologies through www.mtonline.co.uk.

We sell used and refurbished IT equipment to UK customers only and aim to ensure all products are fully tested before dispatch.

1. 30-Day Warranty

All products sold by Mashal Technologies come with a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.

The warranty covers:

  • Hardware faults
  • Functional defects present at the time of delivery
  • Failure under normal use

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, software issues, or normal wear and tear.

2. Returns Eligibility

You may request a return if:

  • The product is faulty or defective
  • The product is not as described
  • The fault occurs within 30 days of delivery

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact us within 30 days
  • The item must be returned with the same serial number
  • Original accessories supplied must be included (where applicable)

3. Items Not Covered Under Warranty

The following are not covered:

  • Physical damage after delivery
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect
  • Software issues, viruses, or operating system corruption
  • Battery degradation (unless completely non-functional on arrival)
  • Cosmetic condition already described in the product listing

4. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you of approval or rejection
  • If approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days

Refunds cover the product price only unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

5. Replacements or Repairs

Where possible, we may offer:

  • A repair, or
  • A replacement of equal or similar specification

If neither is available, a full refund will be issued.

6. Return Shipping

  • Faulty or incorrect items: Return shipping costs will be covered by Mashal Technologies
  • Change of mind returns: Buyer is responsible for return shipping

We recommend using a tracked delivery service. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.

7. How to Request a Return

  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos (if applicable)

8. UK Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under UK law.
